Best of Show was awarded to John Cooksey for an oil painting called 'Ancestors.'

The Lighthouse ArtCenter now is showing its 35th installment of the Celebrate the Arts Exhibition.

The Celebrate the Arts Exhibition highlights the works of its creative students and seasoned faculty members, showcasing drawings, paintings, photography and ceramics, as well as sculptures and mixed media. The works will hang through April 20.

BallenIsles Couple Show Off Their Art

On March 2, 2013, lucky members of the Lighthouse ArtCenter Museum and School of Art’s 125 Club got a glimpse of an impressive private collection belonging to Robert and Debbie Burger, who live in BallenIsles.

The international art collection is among the best in any of the homes in Palm Beach Gardens and featured contemporary works, as well as ceramics. Tickets to the event cost $125, with proceeds benefiting the many programs of the Lighthouse ArtCenter Museum and School of Art in the village of Tequesta.

Refreshments were provided, and the Burgers gave background information on the art and the artists.
